Print On Demand Mugs

I’ve recently discovered an awesome 3rd party service called GearBubble for creating customized mugs and other great items.

You can create your own designs, upload to their site and within minutes, have a mug or other available items ready for sale online, on your own GB store.

This company has a system that interfaces with Amazon and Shopify very nicely and also has an easy to manage system for processing online orders with eBay, etsy or your own website. I do this work for myself as well as a few clients.

I’ve found Canva very easy to work with with lots of options available. You can get your own free account here. Canva

To the right is an example of a finished Canva design, due to Canva’s *terms of service you are not able to upload to GB as an item for sale without purchasing the appropriate license.

You can however, use these designs as super creative ideas for your Graphic Designer or to bring into Photoshop CC or another similar program where you can replicate with your own version.

Notice how my design fills to the edges, this works for easy and communicates accurate design sizing on the final product.

 

 

Canva Terms of Service example

Using Canva for Graphics

I start my design in Canva using a blank template that is 4000 x 4375, this size should transfer over nicely to your final GB design and it should transfer with no pixalation issues if you are using good high quality images.

Create your own customized template by adding your website and/or your logo to your mug template canvas and save to your computer or mobile device. Reuse this template over and over to save precious time.

You can then use the provided Canva images, some free, some paid, or upload your own designs and text and easily create your own custom mug design ideas.

Do make sure you have rights to use the images and fonts that you choose.

Come up with funny & witty sayings to help make an impression, a statement, to enhance your brand.

 

 

You can use these final custom designed products that you will create as client gifts, networking giveaways, book promotions, fund raising or even to sell when you come up wiith a money making idea!

Make sure you delete the circles inside the letters.

If your design does not have a transparent background but would look better with one, unless you have the paid version of Canva, you can bring your saved design into getpaint.net and use the magic wand tool and the delete button in order to make that happen.

This is a free program and fairly easy to learn. You will need to download the program to your computer.

It’s Time to Finish

Once your design is completed, whether completed by yourself or your graphics person, it is now ready to be uploaded into the GearBubble system, that’s where the magic happens.

Here Is Our Final Mug

Of course this design is just being used for demonstration purposes and I’m using it as a way to promote one of my brands while sharing this hopefully valuable information with you.

Laptop Lyfe is my dream, finding ways to creatively help others, creating multiple streams of income for myself, income that is somewhat easy to generate with the proper tools and training.

I also enjoy helping others learn how to do the same.
